The number of simultaneous connections to obniz devices can now be changed

You can now change the number of simultaneous connections to a single obniz device from the device settings.

About the number of Websocket API concurrent connections

Currently, up to 5 programs can run simultaneously on a single obniz device.

We have now added the ability to set the number of simultaneous connections allowed for the Websocket API. The number of simultaneous connections can be changed and set from 0 to 5 from the device settings of the User’s Console.

By setting the number of simultaneous connections, you can avoid unintended program conflicts caused by simultaneous connections.

[notice] Change the default number of simultaneous connections from 5 to “1”

From January 15, 2021, the number of simultaneous connections will be changed from 5 to 1.
As before, if you need to connect from multiple devices (up to 5), please change the number of simultaneous connections setting in the device settings.

  • We automatically update device settings, and all devices are targeted.
  • If you change the settings before January 14, the settings of the relevant device will not be automatically changed.
